A friend of mine always passes out when she gives blood. We never really notice anything, we just wait and she wakes up. A year or so ago she cut her arm open, saw the blood and passed out. She ending up seizuring. Then today, she was giving blood at her doctors office. They took two viles, and she was okay. Then she passed out and seizured again. They had to call 911 because she stoped breathing and everything. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this. What type of seizure it could be, or why she does it? Anything would be helpful. She is okay now. But it is all very scary. Thanks.

She need a specialist on that issue. Not just any doctor but someone specializing--maybe a neurologist.

I think she should be asking her Doctor this question and get a complete check up
