I would like to know why you are bitter against God

I do not believe that they are bitter against God...a true atheist refuses to admit that God exists. Most atheist say that they do not believe in God. When they say this, they are saying there is a God, but they do not believe in Him. This a contradiction in terms....if they are rally sincere, they would say that He doesn't exist or that there is no God. To be bitter against God would be saying there is a God but they are against His teachings. or that He is not a divine being or that they hate Him. (contradiction in term again).
A Christian can not prove there is a God and an atheist can not prove there is no God.

Most atheists aren't bitter against God, but bitter against religion--at least, that's what they say. More often than not, they're smarting from bad experiences with certain religious individuals they've known, typically family members they grew up with. Some atheists resent Christianity because Christians believe in an ultimately just universe despite all the evil and injustice in the present.

I ask these people to note the word "ultimately"--what Christians actually believe is, IN THE END, the universe will be perfect. Nowhere in scripture does it say the world is going to stay lousy forever.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm an atheist (more of an agnostic), but your question makes no sense.

Atheists simply do not believe in God. How can someone be bitter against something they don't think exists?

In fact, atheists are not bitter at all. This is what religious people can't seem to understand.

Atheists don't believe in "believing", they either "accept" based on proven evidence or "reject" based on lack of proven evidence.

I'm not an atheist, i'm an agnostic but I would like to answer your question. What in the first place made you think that atheists are bitter against God. They just don't believe in the existence of God. Tell me, isn't the existence of God a theory? Theories have no proof, so those who don't believe in them have a right to do so and those who do believe don't have a right to impose their beliefs on others.

Cute.

But to answer your question, we're not bitter against God. I have no reason to be bitter against something I don't believe exists. We're just bitter about the people who constantly make faulty accusations and perpetuate false claims such as this.

You know questions like this dont do any good. If someone was an atheist u think by telling them that theyll change? Theyll just be more mad and have to porve thier point more. If u really think its wrong then u should show ppl how leading a path in the way of g-d makes u a better person, go out in the world and do good things, ppl will see u , and say thats how a religouys person acts, hmmm, maybe i want to be religous. But by posting things like that, ull push ppl further away from g-d. Im not an atheist but what ur doing is completly wrong.

Ah, I'm glad you asked... the answer is that we are not bitter against god, because god does not exist. How can you be bitter about something that doesn't exist?

We are, however, quite bitter about the people that use god as an excuse for... well.. everything.

A true athiest ISN'T bitter against God. An Athiest is someone who doesn't believe there even is a God. If they are bitter against God they aren't an athiest.

We are as bitter against god as we are bitter against Santa Clause.

I told you before, familiarize yourself with the definition of atheist before you go off on one about us. It's not that we don't like your god. We believe firmly that there is no such being in any form and never has been.

How many times do we need to tell you?

We're not bitter against something that doesn't exist.

That's like me asking you why you're bitter against the Easter Bunny.
