Its true that has happened; however, the opposite has also happened. There are many many stories of missionaries helping indigenous cultures in positive ways. Its just that hollywood and school textbooks do not mention them. I definitely think you need to do more research. There are millions and possibly billions of dollars coming out of churches and christian charities to help give food, water, clothing, medicine and other needed items to indigenous cultures.
