it particularly is greater complicated than that. The seeds of WW2 have been sown on the ashes of WW1. The treaty of Versailles held Germany in charge for the fee of the war. This contributed to the poverty and melancholy of the 20's and 30's. This replaced into the fertile floor from which the fascist circulation grew. If Hitler had not lead them, somebody else might have and the war might probably have got here approximately besides! analyze this with our therapy of Germany after the 2nd war! look into Germany immediately! There are training right here that we would do properly to remember!

Well I think you have to define exactly who are the people that blame Saddam for the current war before one can answer your question.
If you're trying to refer to Bush Jr. blaming Saddam for starting the Iraq war the answer to Hitler and WW2 without a doubt would be yes.
This would go along with Historical fact that WW2 was started by Hitler I quote;
"the key to understanding why war broke out in 1939 is to understand Hitler's world view. Hitler wanted Germany to become a world power. In the mid 1920's before he became dictator Hitler wrote a book called Mein Kampf - My Struggle and in the book he outlined his general program for Germany. Basically according to Hitler the German people - not white people in general but the Germans themselves were in fact a master race whom he called the Aryans (sometimes he called them Nordics) whose destiny was to rule Europe and through Europe the world. The problem however was that the Germans had never been truly united and were unaware of the enemy lurking about them - the Jews. According to Hitler Germany had lost WW1 because the government wasn't strong enough to resist the Jews and so while the German army was winning victory after victory a group of traitors and Jews were undermining the home front. This lead to the armistice in 1918 and the subsequent treaty of Versailles in 1919. The new government which was a democracy was believed by Hitler to be run by the same people who had caused Germany's defeat and signed the Versailles treaty. These people were called the November criminals and were considered to be traitors. The treaty of Versailles that had been signed and was so hated by Hitler had brought an official end to the war but it was considered extremely harsh. Germany before WW1 had a huge empire that almost matched the British. At one stroke this empire was gone. The treaty had striped Germany of her empire, used large chunks of territory to create other countries and forced Germany to pay huge reparations payments. Hitler's goals as outlined in Mein Kampf were to overthrow the democratic government called the Weimar republic and set up a new government that would be from the German people themselves (as opposed to the supposed Jewish government then in power). The new government was to be a strong government and it's goal was to preserve the German people as a pure race. The government he was outlining was to be in fact his own dictatorship. After the Nazi revolution had occurred the government would then work to fulfill six basic goals:
1. Purge Germany of foreign elements - the Jews in particular and other "inferior" races.
2. Destroy the treaty of Versailles.
3. This goes hand in hand with no. 2 and that is to unite all German people in Europe and even from abroad- that is Germans from the US should come to Germany, their Fatherland while Austria which was German should unite with Germany etc.
4. Conquer France and the Soviet Union. France mainly because she was a military rival and the Soviet Union because she was both an ideological and a military enemy.
5. Gain living space - territory. This ties in to goals 2 -4 and was to be found primarily in the Soviet Union. Hitler believed that the Soviets were "subhuman" and so they should be slaves of the Germans. The Germans would colonize the Soviet Union and take all her resources for herself. They would be forbidden to marry or have sexual relations with the people there because they might "contaminate" their own pure blood.
6. Last but not least Germany would strive for friendship with Britain and Italy who were to be Germany’s partners and either stand aside or help him to conquer.
Hitler never actually outlined his goals the way I did but this a good summary of what he wanted. He often pursued the same goals at the same time. Hitler often referred to his program as The New Order. The United States and Japan were mentioned only once in Mein Kampf. Apparently these nations were to be mainly on the sidelines because they were composed of inferior races and had to be completely dependant on the Aryans. After taking a look at the program envisioned by Hitler one has to step back and ask a few questions. Was Hitler being serious? Did he write Mein Kampf and later change his mind? These are some questions worth answering. In 1933 when Hitler came to power he finally had a chance to put his ideas into practice. Among the first things he did even before he began to create his dictatorship was to begin preparing for war. Hitler considered war a necessity and war would have to be waged to carry out his program." [3]
If you were thinking what about Italy and Japan's ambition for territorial conquest think of the Tripartite pact and in addition the fact that Germany initialized WW2 with the invasion of Poland.
The only people who don't believe this are neo-nazis KKK with holocaust denial and pinup posters of Hitler in their bedrooms such as yourself "eldude" who would probably have a hard time understanding those facts.
As for the Iraq war, Saddam and his behavior Internationally and Internally prior to the 2003 invasion was a key determinant in the causing the conflict in Iraq, after all if he wasn't in power then the Bush administration wouldn't have sought a more active role for regime change whether the methods used to achieve this were just or not.
So as I believe that Saddam had a large responsibility for the current conflict I know without a shadow of a doubt Hitler was main protagonist and therefore can be blamed for WW2.
