Sometimes picture comes on and then goes to thin line. Hooked up to dish network with a splitter to another TV. This is the 2nd TV set to do this in the same room. Is this fixable. Is it the TV or satellite?

It sounds like you lost your vertical deflection, the part that makes the picture fit the screen from top to bottom. You could have just had the same problem with the 2 TV's and it has nothing to do with the satellite. Do this, disconnect the satellite from your TV. Just unscrew the cable from the satellite box. It doesn't matter if you disconnect it from the TV or from the satellite box. It's safe to do this with the TV on. With no signal going into the TV, you should see a white screen with snow on it. If you still have the narrow horizontal line, the TV is bad. If you have a white, snowy screen, the satellite has a problem.
I hope this helps a bit.

Hmmm...well it is strange that this would be the 2nd tv in the same room to have the same symptom. It sounds like it is the tv ...the vertical sync or maybe it was the horizontal sync.....well one of them is off. I'm not sure how you could go about fixing it yourself...it is fixable, but to take it to a tv repairman will cost you about the same as buying a new tv. If you want to see if it is the connection try switching tv's from the first and second room if possible. Well thats about everything I can think of.

Some of the cords on your TV or dish may not be hooked up properly.
Or, it could be just like my TV. Mine started doing that a couple of years ago, then stopped. It started again a few months ago, but it never lasts long so we haven't replaced anything. For us it normally lasts only a couple of minutes, or happens for a few seconds now and then throughout a few hours. If your TV is doing the same as ours I wouldn't worry about it. But if it continues you may want to have a repairman come. Or just get a new TV.

Well I dont mind a B cup, but an A is pretty small (practically nothing). I dont like huge breasts. If your talking ourely from a sexual prospective and nothing else, it might be a turn off. But relationships are never about sex only, they are about people who become friends, have an attraction, a connection, and things in common. So in a relationship a man is not going to have sex only for sex. if you do engage in that, it's not the right thing to do anyway. Wait until you find someone like a serious boyfriend before you even get to that. And by than, the boy will be looking at much more than just your breasts!

Yikes! If your Avatar/nickname is true and you have 6 children, we better get your TV fixed quicky!!

Not sure if the problem is the tv, satellite, dish or whatever, but the same thing used to happen quite a bit with my tv:

TRY UNPLUGGING THE TV FROM ITS POWER SOURCE. WAIT A MINUTE OR 2 AND THEN
REPLUG AND TURN BACK ON AGAIN.

Please let me know if that helped! (:0)

Sounds like the satellite if it happens on multiple TVs. Call Dish and get them to send a tech to your house to fix it.

If your TV is kind of old, or is getting old, you should try banging it on the top a couple of times. I had this exact problem, but we decided just to buy another TV(the TV was old anyways).
