My van is leaking some kind of fluid under the passenger seat. I cant smell any oder and took it in for repairs and was told it was a CLOGGED FILTER......got it back and it is doing the very same thing. It isnt leaking from the top under the panel, it looks as though it is coming from the floorboard...it is soaked after running the AC. Any suggestions? We just got it off from a dealer 2 weeks ago.....please help! Thanks!!!!!!!!!! Melissa

Usually a fluid on the passenger floor pan means that your Heater Core is leaking coolant. I have never heard of a clogged filter causing a leak in the passenger compartment. I have seen the rain gutter drain get blocked up causing water to leak into the vehicle but that is usually near the rear end of the vehicle.

Look under the hood pas==side firewall bottom under all the hose an box there i small tube 3/8 round thats the drain it's pluged.try using you garden hose an clean it out or from inside pull the cover off if possible in there is the condenser an clean the stuff out??Did the dealer work on the a/c condenser or in the area of the heater thats where the leak as there is a gasket seal in there that they could of not sealed correctly??

The wiper tub on caravans has two drains as well, on either side. If they clog up rain water collects in the tub and can spill over into the passenger side.

The others answered properly about the evaporator drain. If it only happens when you run the AC, the evaporator drain is most likely clogged. It is a small black tube protruding from the passenger side of the firewall about 3/4 inch in diameter. Difficult to see on that model, but look and see with a flashlight and it is most likely clogged.

It could possibly be coming from your 'rear-end differential'. You need to have that checked asap. Could get pretty dangerous ! I know first hand, cuz i had that problem with my ford ranger 2 months ago. My rear end diff. had a major leak, and all along i thought it was my 'brake lines' leaking. I brought it to my mechanic, and he found that my differential fluid was leaking straight down my rear brake lines, which also caused other problems with the braking system. Sp, just get that differential fluid checked...asap !! ( i hope i was of some help 2 u. ) Good~Luck ! --- Deb*

It must be condensate, from the a/c evaporator. It's supposed to drain outside the cabin...If there's no odor, it must be water.
That type of leak is sneaky--it goes under the plastic trim and onto or under the floor upholstery.
Clogged filter?? What filter?
