Some people imagine, but it's not true, it is not that every kid is born with a new God, or every religion has it's own God. The God of all the creation is same One God, only the scriptures differ. God has send messengers with books to every nation, the last and final message is the Quran..

Your question is excellent and the answer to it is complicated. Your question presupposes that there is a god. Look at all the religions which believe in an omnipotent deity. Can you imagine a god who is all-loving who could damn unbelievers to an eternity of torment in a hell? Seems contrary to the concept of "all-loving," doesn't it. Religions which believe in such a deity often cloud this concept of god as being all-loving and equally all-just; i.e., "Believe in me and I will give you paradise because I'm all-loving. Don't believe in me or do something I consider wrong and I'll send you to hell because I'm being all-just." Again, seems to be contradictory.

Buddhists do not believe in a Judeo-Christian-Muslim concept of god. For the sake of convenience I'll refer to Buddhism as a religion even though it does not fit that mold. The Buddha (Buddha means the Awaken One) is not worshiped as a god but venerated as a human who gave profound teachings as to how we should live. The Buddha simply inspires us. He emphatically stated that he was not a god, the child of a god, or a messenger of a god. He only taught that he had perfected himself, found a way to live without fear, and that we could each become perfected as he. Buddhism, as I understand it, can actually be explained in the following four lines from "The Dhammapada" (verse 183):

To shun all evil.
To do good.
To purify one's heart.
This is the teachings of the Buddhas.

All other texts and words are merely embellishments to the above. Buddhism does not rely on fear of damnation in order to keep its followers as do all other religions.

I've developed a roll of giant king-sized litmus paper, coated with chemicals that will turn the right yellow colour if pressed to the forehead of the true God. All other gods make the paper turn a sickly mauve instead.

Trouble is, none of these gods are showing their foreheads to anyone...hmm, odd, that. Nothing to test, therefore the idea of God is not testable. Therefore science goes IGNORE! Give us something REAL to worry about!

First of all, we have divine revelation once we have faith in God. But, way before then, we have been given the Holy BIble, the precious Holy Word of God, that is truly His love letter to us. amen.
In His WORD, He says that the only true God is the God with the full teachings of Jesus Christ. All other religions are false.
God says there is only one pure undefiled religion , and it is Christianty, but not all that wear a Christian title are Christian. God says by their fruits< ACTIONS, we will know them. Are they living for Jesus, acting like Jesus?? IF not , they are not His follwers and they only wear the Christian label. GOd calls this a false form of godliness, and He will tell then I NEVER KNEW YOU, and they wont be saved. BUt we arent to judge and hate them, we are to judge and hate the sin, BUt to pray for everyone to truly be born again, and living like Jesus, and yes it is possible. THe WORD OF GOD tells all about it. The sooner PPL will just read the Bible and know its true, and will pray and truly live like Jesus, the sooner they will just know their salvation is assured. Studying is not a dreaded thing. When we get into the Word of God, He makes it come alive and there is nothing on earth more exciting that real Bible study and prayer.
PPl will often say I am not religion , I am Christian. SOunds good. Cuz being in false religion is against God. BUt, God tells us to have pure, undelifiled religion, the religion of Jesus. Being His follower makes us CHRIST IAN.

Great question, I am following the One True God. Even the other religious sectors, Baddest and the Qur'an, But if you look into all of them. They all have the base in the One True God. It is later in the histories of them that they became misguided.

The right question to ask then is: how do you know that your religion (way of life) is better than mine?

Answer: I don't. I just live my life my way and try to make the best of it. I cannot know your way, because you can never completely communicate it to me anyways becasue it's only a vague idea in your and my minds. besides, we are diffrent, so what is best for me might be the worst for you!

The question could also be stated as: "How do you know that your State Religion is better than mine?"

Answer: It is not! All state religions suck!!! They make you pay for the poor and use the money to fix up lawsuits against their child-abusing priests!!!!
