The possibilities are endless. You could have bursitis, torn ligaments, simple arthritis, or something more serious. Plain film x-ray is good for diagnosing the majority of bony abnormalities, but you definitely need to have an MRI done. A CT scan could possibly shed a little more diagnostic light, but I would expect to have an MRI.
I would see your general practitioner for a referral to an orthopaedist as soon as possible...the pain may be bad, but taking that much ibuprofen in one day is NOT good for your body.
Best of luck!

Unless it's the new deep scan, it won't. The doctor should know this. Take the hint and see another doctor, he should have sent you for a CAT scan or MRI the new deep scan also, one, the CAT is three D.
It sound like you have arthritis and need a scraping or ? sent to an orthopedic surgeon at least. Maybe get by with therapy.
Ask him about Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate: it's complicated so I won't go into an explanation here but, he can. Glucosamine is produced by the body naturally and used for the repair of the cartilage and the pain from arthritis and rheumatism. It's sold over the counter for $9.98 a month supply.
It bothers me when I hear a doctor will stop part of the way through a test like this and leave you standing, this isn't right. There oath is to "do no wrong" but, how about helping where needed?
You need further tests for your pain. I can't tell you what to take but I can say to use ice packs and elevate your legs with a pillow under them at night.

Potassium could help...eat a banana! If this seems to help, you might benefit from taking a multivitamin to replace all of the vits and minerals you are not ingesting correctly. Vits are amazing, you can get them for males, females, older males and females, energy, weight loss, etc. They will all have the same benefits just each has an added power behind it. Also there is this rub that is for aches and pains (especially back and joints) it is called Biofreeze! It is sold in most all drug stores over the counter and is fairly cheap. It is freakin wonderful. You might wanna try that too!!!

My knees and ankles do the same thing. Ice packs usua;;y help my knees but the dx usually is torn cartilidge and bursitis. It is usually best to get it looked at by an orthapedic doctor and they can sometimes give you a cortisone shot or some physical therapy exercises.

My neck. Sq: i might like which you probably did no longer... =S sq.: i think of that it would shrink the discomfort quite... it is not gonna magically mend or heal the area or something, i think of it particularly is greater of a psychological concern, no longer actual. additionally, this has barriers based on the severity of the harm; for sure, kissing a gunshot wound wont make it injury much less. i think of it would a minimum of distract you from the discomfort. nicely, i desire you experience greater advantageous!

A cat scan will show more. Try to have one of those done. It could simply be arthritis.

It could be that your bones are a little closer together than they should be, they might be slightly rubbing against eachother.
