We exchanged text messages and she knows I work late, so what gives??

maybe she's had bad experiences in the past. (ie: some jerk guy, who she thought she clicked with avoided her, and never told her why)..more than likely she's just on guard to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you like her, and you think it's worth pursuing, remind her again that you work late, and are sometimes busy..but you are interested (on some level) @ least. It also might be a comfort to her, (if u like her, and think you could give it a shot)...to send her a brief (VERY brief) text message every once in awhile..saying something like "just wanted to say Hi, hope things are well, I'll call you when I get a chance"....small gestures like that are encouraging for her, especially if she is somewhat insecure about herself, and where she stands

I went through something like that. There is nothing that you can do to try to avoid that situation. If a person does that to you, it is them, not you (and you obviously don't want to date a person with such a problem). If they wanted to stay away from you because of something you did, they wouldn't ever come back to you. If they wanted to be around you, they would. If they play a game like that girl did to you, you don't need to be in a relationship with that person because you will most definitely run into some major problems sooner or later. Don't worry about crossing the same path again. Such a thought can lead to you holding yourself back in relationships through fear. If you find the right girl, you won't have that situation anyway! hope this helps!! xx!

she pariniod. just give her a break. i did the same thign and lost a guy i really liked and i regret it alot. if she wont back down then try to explain it to her one more time and if that doesnt work tell her she a little to immature for you, dont just blow her off like the guy did to me because that just sucks. and i only did it like 3 times (ok thats alot) anywa he said it was fine after i apoligized and backed off and never called again. so just be nice but tell her it cant go on like that becuase that could be the start of a very controlling relationship.

just consider this insight...she apparently needs a lot of attention in a relationship, and won't be happy unless you can give it to her. its up to you whether you think you can continue a relationship with her
