First, let me say that's the most insightful question I've seen you ask so far (I'd was going to say the best one you ever asked, but your Q&A is set to private, so I can't be sure).
I hadn't heard the 'brown pride = unpatriotic' one, and I've rarely heard anyone dare to utter the words 'white pride' (let alone 'white power') as part of anything /other/ than an accusation of nazi-level racism. I mean, the only people I ever actually hear say "white power!" are actors playing neo-nazis on TV. (But then, I live in a pretty diverse area).
Though, really, resting your self-respect on your skin color doesn't strike me as the greatest idea in our racially-sensitive times. So, yeah, whether it's white, yellow, brown, red, or green 'pride' - it may well be a cypher for some form of intollerance. Even if it's not, even if you can have 'pride' in your color without being down on other colors, I can see how those who are racially sensitive enough could percieve it at bigotry.
Why you'd be called 'unpatriotic' instead of a 'bigot' is probably just a simple matter of 'bigot' being off limits for use against you. If a white guy calls a non-white person a 'bigot' it's just gonna bounce off and stick to him. If the exchange occurs in a forum where the accusation might make sense, 'unpatriotic' isn't a completely inapropriate way of expressing the same sentiment: the feeling that you are judging (presumably white) Americans, as inferior to yourself (based on your non-white-American background).

Since you placed this under immigration, I'm assuming you are talking relevant to the pro-immigration marches and demonstrations. Encouraging other people to break the laws of our country has nothing to do with pride. And nobody goes around yelling "white pride" because we would be as you so aptly noted called bigots.
We can not have a United Caucasion College Fund, A National Association for the Advancement of White people, A League of United White American Citizens and we can not have a media known as White Entertainment Television (Okay, WET doesn't work for other reasons, but you get the point). These "Liberties" are only exercised by the "minorities".
Brown Pride should be taking note of and recognizing advances in science, technology, civil rights etc. that were achieved by Hispanic people. It is not merely a commonality of skin color with which to justify violation of law.
I am 100% for Hispanic, Itallian, Korean, German, African, Native American and anyone else, honoring their cultural heritage. But that does not give you the right to demand that I assimilate to your culture. You want to live and work in the USA and eventually become a US citizen, then speak English as your primary language and fly the American Flag. That is our cultural heritage and if you want to be a part of this great nation, acknowledge and respect it.
I have travelled the world and have never had the nerve to expect a native to speak English to me. I done my best to learn some of their language, at least common courtesies and some important things like "Where is the bathroom?", but never felt discriminated against because the Itallian shop owner didn't speak English, after all, I was in His Country.

My guess is that it is because when someone has brown pride that is the minority group being proud even though they are the ones usually discriminated against. White pride, on the other hand, is the majority group, usually thought of as the ones doing the discriminating, having pride in the thing that makes them the majority. So I think that makes "white pride" bring up notions of Nazis, as was previously mentioned. I don't find this quite fair because I am white and I've been discriminated against for being white plenty of times (I grew up in Detroit). I shouldn't have to apologize for being white any more than someone should have to apologize for being Hispanic, African American, Asian, Middle Eastern, or anything else.
In the long run, I think it's best for people to try their best to not separate themselves from others based on skin color. Whether that's taking pride in their skin or being ashamed of it, it's still making it an issue and it shouldn't be. We're all human, we're all equal.

The fact is that our society often goes on unnecessary crusades. We apply labels to things (especially when it comes to political correctness) for no other purpose than to create controversy.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with pride in yourself. However, your pride should never infringe upon others simply for the sake of "showing off'. A good example of this is gay pride parades.

Great question.
I think it goes to people automatically assuming the worst in each other. The problem with a forum like this is that you can't see the persons face, hear the inflection in their voice, or get the input you normally see when talking face to face.
You just have the printed word which can usually be interpreted in several ways.
You get a star cookie for that one.

To me both groups are wrong! In fact, pride can be so ambiguous! The Bible criticizes prideful people, yet our govt. tells us to be proud of who we are and what we stand for.....Pride which refers to a strong sense of self-respect, a refusal to be humiliated as well as joy in the accomplishments of oneself or a person, group, nation or object that one identifies with.
As a Christian, I see it this way, pride (also vanity or arrogance) is the essentially competitive and excessive belief in ones own abilities that interferes with the individuals recognition of the grace of God, or the worth which God sees in others; for example, Psalm 10 verse 4:
"In his pride, the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God."
You have to be careful with this idea, that one must be proud, because as we all know, pride goes before a fall.....Its so much more difficult to be humble, than proud! I know, I struggle with it everyday of my life....

If you want to have cultural pride, go ahead. Heres the problem. There are 2 kinds of people in the US.
1) Those who desire cultural deversity or similarly, an distinct American culture.
2) Those who shelter themselves from cultural diversity within thier native culture.
So, if someone says brown pride, anyone who belongs to category 1 will not like it and anyone who is in 2 but, not brown, also will not like it.

This is part of the big plan to have all of us fighting over this or that, left/right, black/brown/white, male/female, etc. Keep us so stirred up we don't notice our country is being taken over and destroyed by the globalists. We don't notice the CFR is in charge of our government, our monetary system and all the big corporations. We don't notice that all the people who are members of this organization work to get us into the North American Union and under control of the one world government. We don't notice that in all important elections we only have a choice of which CFR member we will vote for, no choice at all!

It is not bad to be proud of your heritage or your bloodline. It becomes bad when people are "in your face"...about their races. As an example the KKK's that is downright bad. Brown pride becomes bad when Latinos are "in your face" about being latins and hispanics. You can't shove your race, culture, langguage down everyone's throat. Everything in excess is bad. Just be proud to be an American.
