How can it be solid rock if theres a slab there doesnt that sort of imply a room/cavity?

IIRC, the Egyptian government is forbidding all research on spaces under the Sphinx. Researchers using sonar imaging have already detected rooms under the Sphinx. I think they are worried they will find definitive proof that the Sphinx is actually 10,000 years old and was a bull aimed at Taurus and prove that Egypt was founded by the Mesoptomians long before official history recognizes.

No one has removed the slab. I seem to remember it is because the Sphinx could be damaged it one tried to do so.
