I'm thinking I want to run an ad in my local paper and this is what it would say - something like this;

Do you need HELP? Feeling OVERWHELMED? Would you love it if someone could just come over and help you clean or organize or help you with paperwork or bills? Call Marcy: (555)777-7777 (fake #)

Well, what do you think? Would people want this help - at $20.00 an hour.

Try switching the first two sentences. It'll make it flow a little better. I also agree you might want to bring down your price just a bit.

Feeling overwhelmed? Need help? For assistance cleaning, organizing, or completing bills and paperwork, call Marcy: (###) ###-####

I would add something like "references available" (assuming you can get some) and if you are bonded or have any prior experience, that would be nice to include ... for example

Need Help? Overwhelmed with chores and facing a mountain of bills? Let an experienced, reliable "Gal Friday" help you get your home and paperwork organized. Reasonable rates, references available upon request. Call ... for an appointment today, you won't regret it!

Maybe you can give free estimates, given that you'd (hopefully) receive alot of phone calls... and you can estimate a dollar an hour or a per job basis...

So instead of disclosing a $ per hour, say a "free estimate"...

Just an idea! :-)
