I want to pay $2000 for rent per month.
How long is the train ride from Brooklyn to Manhattan?
Does Brooklyn has higher crimes?I know Williamsburg is trendy, but is it safe to live around there?

Williamsbourg and Greenpoint Brooklyn are both trendy neighborhoods and both are safe to live in as long as you don't do anything stupid and invite others to mug you. To downtown Manhattan, it's about 10 to 15 minutes from Williamsbourg and Greenpoint to Manhattan. For $2,000 a month you'll find a nice place in Brooklyn, not true, however, about Manhattan.
