No, but he can arrest you for your actions or threats.
If you display a negative attitude or are belligerant to him, you are more likely to receive negative attention.
Our law enforcement have a difficult job for an ungrateful public, why would you want to make it worse? Why would you be rude to a guy that is trying to protect you? Why would you be rude to a guy that is authorized to carry a gun, handcuffs and a stick? Why would you want to anger him, when he has dealt with criminals all day and has the authority to decide if he should also treat you as one?
Don't be nasty. Give him the respect he deserves and most likely he'll just give you a warning for going too fast (or whatever it was), but if he does write that ticket, realize that you were breaking the law and got caught. Take personal responsibility for your actions and accept the repercussions of your actions.

since this is the military section I would assume you are talking about the military officer, they can have you charged with disrespect of a superior officer, but from the answers given you are talking about a police oficer, if so this question belongs in law and order. sounds like you have an atitude with any authority figure.

Why would you be stupid enough to have an attitude or be rude towards a police officer?

Well, not exactly. However if your "attitude" causes an interference of their duties, you can be arrested for that.
