Don't we get the iodine we need from iodized salt? Do we need other supplements for idoine if we switch to sea salt?

Sea salt is far more healthy for you than normal salt. The reason is it's loaded with minerals. Without minerals the body cannot absorb vitamins. If you take a good quality Multi vitamin every day you will get all of the nutrients you need along with your food.

I disagree with that...
sea salt isnt that much healthier than iodized salt at all.
they both have about the same amount of sodium, and certainly, iodized salt has been great at preventing goiter.

if you went to the poorest 3rd world countries, you would see goiter much more often than in the US. thats because they dont have the iodine fortified salt.

keep in mind iodine is a trace element, so you only need tiny amounts of it, I doubt there would be iodine supplements in the market, though Im actually not sure about that.

Hi GJ, I believe it's alot healthier but make sure the sea salt isn't highly processed or it will be no better than the regular table salt. About 80% of the sea salt is highly processed, you want natural processes to dry the salt.

Sea Monkeys ( brine shrimp) can tolerate a great selection in water chemistry. they'd stay in salt water two times the concentration of sea water. they are tolerant of only approximately something. Did you easily only put in 2 eggs? you should use any form of salt. they are going to take it.
