what term would you use to best describe YOUR view of man's relationship to nature? has it changed since you were younger? how have you arrived at this view? (events, influences, insights, etc.) thanks for sharing.

The European settlers of America have the view that the Earth belongs to man. The view of the Indians is that man belongs to the Earth. Nevertheless, it is the Indians that club baby seals and still hunt whales. That is because killing to live is the way of nature. Nature is not cute, it just is.

man and nature....we are dependent on it...without it we would die....nature provides air, food...and even beauty for us.....

...nature....some people care about it a lot....or wild animals or like plants, trees....and do try to make a effort to help make a positive different...like even by doing a little...planting a tree
or contribute to some organizations that try to preserve land and areas to keep them natural and wild....
