I don't support global warming and am not trying to fight it. I haven't seen any credible evidence to support the global warming theory.
The things I do are the same ones I have done for many years. I don't use airconditioning in my house or car. I keep my heat low in the winter and have a programmable thermostat that basically shuts off the heat during the day. I recycle as much as possible including mulching grass instead of bagging clippings. I drive energy efficient vehicles and walk when I can. I don't use my dishwasher. I wash clothes in full loads only and hang clothes on the clothes line when possible.
Now, what do the Global Warming advocates like Al Gore and the musicians from the bogus concerts do?

1. I work as a consultant for a company that uses software to reduce the energy that buildings use, both commercial and residential.
2. We use only recycled material and paper in the office and have all energy star rated computers and printers.
3. We recycle all our paper
4. We switch lights and appliances off in the office when they aren't being used, including the restrooms for the floor and the kitchen.
5. I walk to work every day and my colleagues either get the T or cycle to work.
6. I recycle at home and switch off appliances and lights when not used at home.
7. I installed low energy light bulbs in all fittings in my apartment.
8. I co founded a website that educates people about environmental issues, from a materials, water and energy perspective and sent the link to everyone I know. www.mygreenhouse.org
9. We wrote multiple articles for Boston Now about the issues above for the general public, to educate them.
10. I take my own bag to the store if I need a lot of items. If not, I ask to not get a plastic bag and carry them alone.
11. I wash all my clothes in cold water
12. I have a shower instead of a bath
13. I don't keep the water on while I brush my teeth, only when I need it.
Theres always something more that can be done though. Every little bit helps.

I consulted the tooth fairy about your question and she said that the Easter bunny is working closely with the Keebler elves to come up with a laser guided magic mushroom to cure global warming.....so...we should be ok. Dude, global warming is not caused by humans. The sun causes global climate and weather patterns. Global Pollution is caused by people.....Global Warming is a myth that is being sold by the far left to get you to vote for them out of fear. Doom and gloom is as old as the planet. Do some more research friend.

To stop Global Warming the best estimates are that we would have to reduce carbon dioxide emissions world wide to less than one tenth of what they are today.
To accomplish that we would need to shut down the economies of all of the countries of the world.
We would have to ban all motorized transportation.
Next we would have to ban all manufacturing including steel making and cement maiking.
Next we would have to ban the heating and air conditioning of all homes, offices and factories.
Next we would have to ban the heating of all water for washing ans bathing.
We would have to learn to bathe in cold water.
Next we would have to ban the use of fossil fuel to generate electricity.
We would need to get the cooperation of all of the countries of the world.
The People's Republic of China has stated that they will not reduce their use of fossil fuels and in fact they plan to increase their use of fossil fuels dramatically. As a result their carbon dioxide emissions will increase dramatically.
The People's Republic of China alone has enough carbon dioxide emissions to cause Global Warming.
Essentially we cannot stop Global Warming.
We must start planning to mitigate the effects of Global Warming.
The sea levels will rise.
Fortunately we can protect coastal areas from flooding with dike systems similar to those in Holland that are used to hold back the sea.
Hurricanes will become stronger and more frequent. We need to upgrade the disaster preparedness systems of the countries that will be affected.
Droughts will become more frequent. We need to help with supplemental water supplies and desalination plants.
We cannot stop Global Warming but we can mitigate the effects of Global Warming if we start now.

I drive my SUV, burn my leaves in the Fall, keep the A/C to 72 in the summer, and heat to 72 in the winter.
This is my contribution to "Global Warming"

I have been 'battling' with the politicians in my home state about this long before Al Gore became public with his fight to help the Earth. As of late, some progress has been made and hopefully more will be made after my meeting with a state representative this week.
For updates, please email me. I will be happy to let you know what is being done.
