My favorite beer is by Sapparo, it's a Japanese beer and I love it because it's not bitter and has no aftertaste like some beers. it also doesn't have a bite like some Jamaican beers. It's just SMOOTH and goes really good with so many "beer foods" but my favorite is when I drink it with sushi :)

Lately, I'm kind of partial to Live Oak Hefeweizen. It's a local Austin microbrew. It's very refreshing on a hot day. In cooler weather I prefer something darker like Guiness or some kind of Bock.

I like Heffes, but for a "normal" beer, I was a big Miller Lite person, but like Mexican beers with lime, so now I'm hooked on Miller Chill.

Depends on if I'm eating something or just want a cold drink.
If I'm eating something you should match the beer with the food just like you would do with wine. So they compliment each other.
If I just want a cold drink a light beer like most American mass produced beers are perfect.

I am becoming partial to ales. I particularly like the German altbier style. Irish stouts like Guinness or Murphy's is good as well. I really want to try Smithwicks though.
