I watched this video and I can tell you that it is partly true, but is so incredibly twisted and skewed as to be laughable. The maker of this video will be totally discredited if anyone actually investigates what he says.

As a former Atheist, I can tell you that people like the maker of this video make so-called "christians" look so bad. I saw these so called "christians" as absurd believers in Fairy Tales and almost to the man, they were horrible people. Some were good, but very few of them were.

I can say without exception, every devout Mormon I ever knew were all good, kind, sweet, loving, sharing, caring, honest, nice people. Not so with most so-called "christians" who hate the Mormons. They are people I avoid at all costs because of their "holier than thou" attitude.

No, my friend, the video tells bald faced lies about the Mormon faith.

I never did believe the "christian" claim that everyone will be destroyed unless they believe EXACTLY what the professional clergy preaches for money. They make people afraid to disbelieve them. They claim that unless they do what they say, they will burn in hell. I always thought that it was pretty plain that these guys scared people into believing them so that they could live off of their fears.

So, I never believed in their transparent lies. I never believed that God would put charlatans like them in charge of His affairs on Earth. It made no sense. I never believed that God created billions and billions of people to live their lives on Earth, never to hear of Jesus Christ, then destroy them. THAT is a loving God??? Give me a break! No wonder so many people do not believe in God or Christianity!

Then the Mormons taught me of a REAL loving God who made a way for ALL of mankind to be saved from the grave without regard to their being lucky enough to live where they had the freedom to learn of Jesus Christ. They taught me of a Savior who redeemed ALL of mankind, that His sacrifice is universal, His Atonement, infinite, not narrowly available to a lucky few.

I never met a Mormon hater that was a nice person. I avoided them because they are so unpleasant, like that absurd video.

Every single devout Mormon I have known is honest, sweet, kind, loving, giving, sharing, caring and good and friendly.

I hope you do not listen to detractors of Mormons and Mormonism, they are up to no good, even if they are sincere.

I invite you to click here and see the REAL Mormonism:
http://www.mormon.org/mormonorg/eng/

I hope you will listen and ask God with a sincere prayer which
is true, the little cartoon you asked me to look at, or the testimonies of these sweet, honest people at mormon.org.

I came to believe in God and Jesus Christ because of the Mormons. The other churches turned me off to their version of God.

Thank you for showing me that crazy video, I never knew people were brave enough to put those kinds of lies on the internet that are so easily disproved.

Please feel free to email me if you would like to hear more.

Thank you!

I think that is terribly wrong of someone to put that out about the LDS (mormon) faith. That is I believe one of the most twisted things I've heard or seen about what we believe. Of course parts are true to an extent. But thats what people who don't like the mormons do. They take part of the truth and twist it and turn it to make it sound horrible. There was so much of that video that as I watched it I thought it was just ridiculous. If you really want to know the truth about mormons and what we believe then go ask a mormon. Not some one who thinks they know. Talk to someone who lives it day to day. If you want to learn about Catholics you wouldn't go to a Baptist church. go to LDS.org. thats a good place to start. Or look up missionaries in your area in the phone book.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are the actual Mormons. The FLDS church's historic past began whilst a polygamist community in Utah widely used as short Creek became excommunicated from the church for refusing to denounce polygamy. Wilford Woodruff, who became the prophet of the LDS church won a revelation that plural marriage may well be discontinued. Joseph Smith and Brigham youthful the two continuously taught approximately persevering with revelation.
