Because there is no such thing as Indian language. There are more then a thousand living languages utilized in India by Indians and the Indian government has enacted the parliament ordinances to identify and acknowledge 22 languages as the official language of India. English is used as one of the major communicating language among Indians.

i think because it's most popular language in the world.
in half of world people's language is English. people like me live in some other countries they use yahoo India. if it will in Indian language, i will unable to use it. because i have hard time with reading Indian language.

Because Yahoo has a very weird concept on how this site is divided. If you are in Yahoo India, your posts can be read through all Yahoo versions in english language: USA, Australia, UK, etc.
I have no idea why they needed to dived it instead of haveing only one version per language.
