I would say the worst thing that could happen is.... death. I would call a vet or the local pet shelter to find out...ASAP!

Well, Monistat 3 is used for stopping ringworm (it's the same as what the vet sells you but it's 4% solution instead of a 2%). I used that on Fred when he got a spot of ringworm and he never licked at it the whole month I was treating him, but considering it's the same ingredient in the vet's cream and they recommend it....I'd say it's probably ok.
It would depend on how much he ate. 1/4 tsp is a lot different than a table spoon. Ask the vet, I think that's the best way to go.
(And yes, the Monistat 3 worked GREAT! I got the suggestion off a ferret list).

When you say Monistat do you mean Monistat for Vaginal Yeast infections or UTI which is Urinary Tract Infections. Which kind exactly?
If it is Monistat for Yeast no problem breeders use all the time for Homepathic Ringworm treatments on cats.
If it is for UTI or Bladder infections what exactly is the ingredients, might need to call poison control or vet.

Call a vet and ask. Most will give advice for free.
I'm not sure what is in Monostat. But its for yeast infections.
Chances are it won't hurt the cat unless it ate the whole tube but be on the safe side and call a vet.

It ate it?? Ew. It could get really sick. Tell her or you do it to call a vet and ask them. She shouldn't have left it out. It can be fatal to a cat. If someone owns a pet, they should be able to afford a vet once in a while. She should get her cat checked out. Or at least call the vet and explain to them the situation.

as bad as it sounds if she cant afford to take the cat to the vet she probably shouldnt have the cat. The cat needs to go to the vet other wise it could be fatal. Does your friend have parents she can borrow the money from, most vets will set up a payment plan.

Before Grunge it was hair metal. I know this. I was there. Did you forget that? Mediocre pretty boys, with big hair, too much make up and very poppy sounds? HAIR metal was the worst thing to happen to music, by a long shot. What could Bon Jovi possibly done fpr the music scene?

I guess if she doesnt have money to go to the vet she will just have to wait and see...make sure you give the cat plenty of water how long ago did it happen? if it is over 12 hours and doesnt show any symptoms it should be ok...give it a can of food also to absorb some of the poision
