its obvious its an emotional issue for you, so much that you call people racist for not wanting illegals here,( not very grounded mind you)so since you really care so much why dont you supporters pay out of your own pockets the amount of welfare and medical monies that the rest of us are forced to pay, i like the rest of the country dont want my tax money used for illegals but you could easily cover the burden by your own income,, heck get 2 jobs to pay for it if you want, you want them here so bad then you pay the cost, oh and by the way not wanting illegals here does not make you a racist it just means you lack a well grounded argument when you resort to name calling

I'm for open borders, but I don't support welfare or other entitlement programs going to illegal immigrants or American citizens. I'm against all involuntary taxation. When you have a quasi-socialist welfare state that redistributes wealth, then you have to accept that you'll be paying for 'undesirables,' or people you don't think deserve the money, whether they be fat, old, lazy or illegal. That's why I don't believe in the existence of the welfare state at all. When the government and your fellow citizens have a financial stake in how you live your life, that only leads to oppression. That's why so many people oppose illegal immigration, and want to levy sin taxes, ban smoking, drinking, etc. - because they're tired of subsidizing the lives of others. I am, too. But if you ask me, we should get rid of the subsidies before we start violating liberty. So, no, I'm not going to get a second job to pay for your laziness or an illegal immigrant's laziness. I'm going to continue advocating that the government return to its constitutional roots.

P.S. I don't think you're racist. Not everyone who believes in the free movement of peoples assumes that every person opposed to that is a racist.

I have posted the same thing in the past except I was saying why dont all the people that want the illegals out of here pay for their deportation. I guess either way, the government will be in our pockets.

To Nicky: It is exactly people like you who assume that people like me, because I am against the invasion of foreign nationals to 1. Come here illegally 2. Purposely become pregnant so as to get a free ride for medical care. 3. Refuse to learn English, and think they can wave their flag around demanding that we who are here legally and rightfully cater to their demands, because they are under the false impression that I or you and everyone around them OWES them something. 4. Commit heinous crimes against innocent law-abiding American citizens, and then run BACK to where they came from because they know they will be protected. I could go on, but I hope you get the point. And while it is good and noble of you to have compassion for them, if you want to be such a do-gooder, then help the elderly or the homeless or the single Mother here in America who struggles daily just to survive! We do have plenty of our own who need our help too, you know? Yes, I do know that not ALL of them are as I described above, and for those I do truly "sympathize", however, it is not the people in Americas job or responsiblity to help or support them financially UNLESS we ourselves have such an abundance of money and resources that we could, and the fact is, just about eveyone I know is lucky enough to make ends meet for themselves and their OWN children and families. Our government and their rich corporate supporters are the ONLY ones that benefit from the gigantic mess they have made for legal Americans AND for any immigrants that want to come here and prosper and become productive, law-abiding, pro-Americans.

It's not so much an emotional issue as it is an issue which confounds what we see as simply other humans in the world trying to feed their families and find opportunities to make their lives better. Much like our ancestors did. I am a very proud descendant of many European immigrants who came looking for the very things that we now abhor our neighbors to the south for looking for. You may state they did this legally and in some regards yes their immigration was legal. However the land which they came to occupy for the U.S. in most cases in through the entire North American Continent west of the Appalachian Mountains were illegal as the U.S. made and broken many many treaties with both the Native American Tribes and the Mexican Government. When it comes to our rights (as Americans) we're always willing to screw someone else over to get what we want and believe is our rightfully. You may say that that's the past but, regardless it is where we come from and we can't deny who we are and what we've done. So having your opinion is great and fine just try to show a little humility and kindness to others while doing so. As to your suggestion that illegal immigrants don't add $ to our governmental system your wrong. Most illegal people are working their current jobs using social security numbers that exist and taxes are paid on these numbers. As to how many governmental services they use, in reality are actually relatively few since most require several forms of documentation to access these programs. Mostly just the local hospitals, clinics and educational resources in their communities.

I do not support illegal immigration by any stretch of the imagination.I only wish that the ppl already here be treated like humans not animals. As far as you're name calling statement goes, it goes both ways. Many of the ppl that agree with me get called things like wettbacks by ppl who agree with you.I won't consider the immigration issue a race one either.By the way if illegals are such"lazy users of welfare" then how are they " taking all American jobs"?
