I'm looking for a car alarm that will call my cell phone or send a text message if someone is trying to break into my vehicle.
Does anyone know of a good brand for this type of product?
I've read about them online, but can't seem to find a brand name.

My alarm has a pager that goes off when my car alarm goes off. It was about $400 and it has the auto starter ( may be able to get it without the auto starter). Range on it is great and you can add it to any car. Go to best buy or some store like that. The number on my page is 800-225-6074 Part no .5bcr03, it about 3 years old.

Because car alarms and cell phones operate on different frequecies, this may be tough. Onstar does have similar features however.

volvo it now has what's called a heart beat sensor
if your car is locked and someone finds out how to get into it
it senses their heartbeat and will page you
