No, there's more than enough land for everyone and their great-grandchildren, but I would like if the government would free up some of its landholdings for development.

Yes, look at the overcrowded schools and failing hospitals and service funds drained before our baby boomer generation that paid into them all of their lives retires to be able to use them.
That is why we have a negative birth rate here. The WORLD is overpopulated, and we never wanted 300,000,000 here.

No it's not overpopulated, probably just poor planning of cities concentrated in small areas. There's room for population growth and immigration according to the US Census and INS people do pass on every now and then you know.

In some spots yes, parts of California for example their infrastructure was not meant to handle its current capacity therefore traffic jams are a nightmare... NY also springs to mind. Other spots are sparsely populated.

I would say it is. We have too many aliens here that came in illegally. Send them home and hire the people on welfare to do their jobs, that way the welfare recipients get paid for working and the taxpayer doesn't have to subsadize them completely . It wouldn't be the first time this was done. FDR did it in 1930's and 40's. Worked then, could now.

No. Only in the cities and the surrounding towns.
North and east of San Francisco, you will see thousands of miles of land and forest not populated or inhabited by anyone.
I read once that you could put the current world's population in Texas and everybody would have two acres of land.

Not even close. The population density of the US is about 78 people per square mile, which is pretty low comparatively.
