I drive 45 min to work everyday. It would only take 15-20, but there's always a backup on the freeway I need to take. Is your drive relaxing, or full of %$#@ and ^&$%@!

Mine is 1h 20min each way. If I take the highway it would take me about 2h30min (traffic + 65 miles), but I take the local roads (no traffic + 45 miles)

Currently, my commute is 40 minutes door to door... I walk a half mile to the train station, take the train 25 miles north, and walk another 3/4 mile to work. VERY relaxing... even in the winter rains.
Previously, it was a mile walk or ride from my door to my old office.
When I was in the Navy, I had a 30 mile drive that took almost an hour in nasty traffic. One day when the car was in the shop, I took the bus... it only took 10 minutes longer, and I could RELAX the whole way. I started taking the bus 4 days out of 5.
My lil Brother has a 90 minute commute... but it is over country roads and usually at 0500 in the morning... before the "rush"

Mine is 15 miles, about 1/2 of that is freeway. It takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and roadwork. It used to be 32 miles, but I recently moved to another office closer to home.

I am very lucky, I only have a 8 mile commute to work! But that takes me about 10-15 minutes depending on what red lights catch me... I still like the few minutes of peace and quiet I get each day.

For my last job, I had to drive 30-45 minutes each way on the expressway. I was at that job for over 15 years. Yuck. I now have a job that's a little over a mile away from home through residental neighborhoods. I only have to watch for school busses and the occasional garbage truck. And, on nice days, I walk to work. Love it.

I sympathize with all you commuters there was a time in my late fortys that I commuted 138 miles a day round trip on the I 5 Santa Anna freeway....No its not relaxing its .... on wheels and its 25 times worse for you all now, sorry.

I drive about 7 miles to work, but before I would drive about 40 miles to work.

one hour 15 min. It is the long drive though, not traffic. You should go in later or earlier to aviod the rush. That is what I do.
