This may seem a little gross but one of my friends has body odour and nobody really has the guts to tell him. He only has it sometimes, but he can't seem to smell it. er why?

Girl, I know EXACTLY what you mean! Or when people have stinky breath everyone knows but them...
I guess its because they're around it and smell it all the time and now they're immune to it and used to it so they don't smell it anymore.
Like everybody's house has it's own smell because of their lifestyle. The people who live there don't smell it because they're there all the time but if someone who's not there all the time comes, they'll smell the scent of the person's house. I figure its the same way with BO.
If this isn't the case then they just don't care that they smell bad. I know some people who are told that they smell bad all the time and they don't do anything about it. So i guess they just don't care.
I just wish I could tell people about it without offending them.

maybe he just doesn't know he smells or he thinks it is someone that is around him all the time that smells or maybe he knows he smells and gets really embaressd

Maybe they do smell themselves but they don't have a chance to run home and shower so they just hope no one else will notice.

i don't know why, they say u can smell yourself b4 anyone can smell u so evidently he doesn't care about his smell if no one says anything about it
