argue on here and answer questions that are clearly just to stir up strife?

In 2 Timothy 2:23~26

Avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

If we quit answering those type of questions, then maybe there will be more real questions in need of real answers. Just a thought, what do u think?

Ironic question - one could possibly argue that you are stirring up strife rather than proclaiming the Gospel.
-

A true Christian is motivated by love...even by the love of the Holy Spirit that dwells within them...and this love motivates them to proclaim the Gospel to others.

Many questions, whether meant to stir up strife...or sincere seeking, can provide a way to answer and share the Gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who came and died for our sins so that we may be forgiven.

Even if the asker themselves gains nothing from an answer, many others might see and read and gain eternal life. The truth is...God's Word does NOT return void. We are like planters...who scatter seed everywhere. It is GOD who gives the growth.

I scatter here...and I scatter there.

Some accuse Christians of "casting pearls before swine", but they don't understand what this verse means. For it could be wrongly argued that sharing the Gospel with ANY non-believer might result in persecution...and the swine may turn and tear.

But what you don't see...is that seed has been planted. And God can (and does) give it growth...sometimes now, sometimes later. We do not judge...or pull out the "weeds", but we continue to sow the seed of the Word of God until He comes again.

It is often the people who oppose the Gospel the most who later encounter God in an extremely intimate way and become the most zealous and passionate for His glory.

Good question, you don't see Pagans doing it ..........do you?
I always said,if I want a sermon,I'll go to church. If I have a question about religion, look it up in your bible or call your minister(father etc.)
Maybe Christians are just dull and uncreative, hypocritical and like to stir "things"look at the dark ages and Salem Mass.
I read from a different book that teaches.."Do what you will,Harm none."

Because some people just can't control themselves. Not to be mean, but I genuinely feel like this. If someone asks a question that is obviously slated to embroil someone in a very crude yelling match, then don't answer. Or, if you must answer, do it a civilized way and leave it at that.

I personally do my best not to argue. I just state my opinions and beliefs and if people don't agree with them I'm totally fine with it. The Lord says we are to turn the other cheek if others don't want to hear the message and I sincerely try to apply this principle to my life.

"And Who is there to harm you if you prove to be followers of what is good?
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. and do Not fear their intimidation, and do Not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with GENTLENESS AND REVERENCE; " (1 Peter 3: 13-15)

...we can try and pick and choose those questions from those who are looking for guidance or answer those questions that would cause us to glorify God rather than stir up trouble...
