No, I don't. I KNOW that this earth, and everything else in the universe was created by THE God. Look around you, there is ample evidence for an intelligent creator. Think of it this way. If you walk downstairs one morning, and see a box of Alpha-bits spilled on the table, and the words "Take out the trash, love Mom" spelled out in the letters, would you assume that it randomly spilled to spell that out? No, it suggests a creator. The whole universe suggests this. Look around you with new eyes, stop being naive. The smallest single-celled organism contains more than 1000 full copies of the Encyclopedia Britannica worth of information. And you expect me to think that it evolved from sludge? I haven't got that much faith, sorry.

Well dear little atheist, if you could explain to us how exactly the universe was formed if it were not formed by a higher being...please feel free to do so. However, you didn't give us any opinion on how you believe it got here. Oh wait that's right you don't have beliefs!!!!! My mistake. You know I feel very sorry for people like you, but it's your own choice. May you find God before your last day on Earth arrives.

While sciences insists that it is based on fact, it is really a system of continuous question. Spirituality is a system of continuous answers based on faith. I would say that you need a question to have an answer and vice versa. We could very possibly all be right in what we believe if we stop trying to prove each other wrong. After all, everyone does agree that noone has the right to judge them.

Everyone has a right to their own beliefs, I am a christian and my son is a atheist. I don't have in depth conversations about his beliefs and he does not question me.
In case you don't get the hint I am not a Jehova Wittness, and yes I believe we have a higher power but that is my opinion.

What did we just all of a sudden just exist? Of course there is a higher power GOD...I think most people who don't believe in God chose to because they think of themselves as a higher power, they don't want to answer for anything that they do. Its a cop out!

... Well if some people believed this world was made by God, then you should be okay with that. I mean it's their opinion on how this world got started. So what if people thought world was made by higher power. IT DOESN"T MATTER. Just go along, listen to it, and if you don't like it, then ignore it. C'mon it's that easy.

I know we are made by God us and everything around us.
"All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:3
" In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1

Not just "a" god. THE God.
Yes. That is exactly what I believe.
I don't mind that you're an atheist. I don't even mind that you feel the need to make fun of me.
But if you want to seem intelligent you should remember to use spell check and proper punctuation.
Dear Rowan: Contrary to what you think we Christians LOVE science! Without it we could never prove a miracle didn't happen by some natural means.

Yes I believe that the whole universe was created by Him.
But I have a question for you: What started the random electric charge that started the process of evolution?

"I do not personally understand how one can believe all existence came into place because of a higher power/creator. If you do believe this, could you please explain your reasons? Thank you."
Put it that way and you will get a lot of better responses. Respect begets respect, but if you belittle someone they'll be more likely to respond rudely, or not at all.
