I have been talking to this guy online for a year and we meet for the first time Friday. We always talk about what we are going to do to each other the first time we meet. Should I have sex with him or should we wait?

I think you should wait. It's scary meeting someone online. What if this guy gave u a fake pic and he's a registered rapist or molester? This happened recently in the Los Angeles area and the girl is still missing. Besides if u have sex with him the first date he WILL lose respect for you, then its gonna turn into a sex only kind of thing. That's all he's gonna see in you. A piece of meat he can use for his pleasure whenever he wants. If your gonna give it up to him on the first day then what is gonna make him think you won't everytime u see eachother?

Just to let you know, where you start off in a relationship is usually where you will stay. I know you may feel a connection with him and since you have been talking for a year, it doesn't feel as bad, but be true to yourself. Online relationships give people a chance to have other relationships on the side so don't be surprised if you find out later you aren't the only one. If you have to question a decision, then chances are you know the right choice. Trust your mind and not your emotions.

If you really like him, then no-- don't do it on the first date. Even though you feel like you really know him, this is the first time you will be near each other. You need to get used to seeing him in real life before you jump into bed with him. Since you know him so well, the sex might come into the relationship pretty quickly, but don't do it on the first date.

It doesn't matter what you have been talking about. This is YOUR self respect. NO NO NO you should not have sex on the first date. You may have been talking to him online but you really don't know him in person!

When I talk about myself online, I obscure the truth a bit. You should probably get to know the guy a little better.

I would not have sex with anyone on a first date. Actually I didn't have sex until I was married. The choice is ultimately yours, but I will say that you will most likely regret any intimacy you share with him. Keep your dates to taling and spending time getting to know each other. Keep your cool, and keep your clothes on.

Answer the following questions in your mind first:
-Do you want to get pregnant?
-Are you willing to risk getting STDs?
-What would make you trust him so soon?
-Is there a possibility he's only after sex and leave after he gets what he wants?
Don't put out for anyone, at least not until you're married or in a serious relationship.
