How many Christians actually go out into the streets? There are probably more than I know about. Around here not many do. I do believe that sharing God's word would make the world a better place, however trying to FORCE people to believe as I do is only going to cause riots and rage. I am willing to share God's love with anyone that is willing to listen. However, if they don't want to hear it at this moment, then I need not try to force them as it will only serve to drive them further from God and closer to Satan's hands. This is my way of answering. Hope it helps.

Actually I don't have to go to the streets. I go to wherever I frequent, work people who come and go, and family members and friends, neighbors etc.... I have two kids
so it's hard to have any time to witness other than the places that I frequent. If God puts them in your path, you witness to them .... and yet maybe one day I will be able to make a regular practice of going out of my way.... however that is not in Gods plan for my life at this time because the Children being raised up in it is my #1 priority. Not afraid at all!
I am not ashamed of Jesus Christ .... never!

the last direction Jesus gave to man was to go out and teach( some bible versions say preach) and make disciples of people of every nation. -Matthew28:19,20

being that this was a command of the Son of God, this is something that all true Christians should do.

Jehovah's Witness are part of the only group in the world that do this on a regular basis every day of the week: in rain, in snow, in scorching heat, after their work day or on other occasions when it would feel so good to just sit at home. BUT --- would sitting at home accomplish what Jesus commissioned us to do? of course not.

love for God and for fellow man is a driving force that helps us in our ministry. sharing God's word as well as His promises for the future are wonderful things to share with honest-hearted ones and this comes straight from any bible.

right now, there are almost 7 million witnesses world -wide that do "go where the people are"-- be it door -to-door or out in the streets.
please speak to one next time they come by--you can find out those wonderful promises for yourself!!!

What do you think that this is? Are these not also the 'streets'?

Who here can talk for 5 minutes to a person about God face to face?

Here you can talk for months. I find that this forum is very effective in getting the message out to those who don't know God. Hopefully, there are some who want to know Him.

Organized Religions are the root of all evil and should be avoided and banned. Going out onto the streets in the past has resulted in lynching of innocent people and resulted in a witch hunt by those claiming to be God's messengers. I hope this helps. Best Regards, M.G.S.

"you've got to take the Lord with you, children, everywhere you go..."

"...on the job"
"...in the home"
"...in the street"
"...or home alone"

we share out of an overflow of love for God, not out of duty! we are lights that were meant to shine, no matter how dark our location may be. if you can imagine being in the darkest place on the planet - when a light is turned on, everyone who is able, automatically turns towards it! the same is true of your life as a Christian cuz your life may be the only bible people may ever know.

All of Jehovah's Witnesses from the very young to the very old go to the doors. None of us stops until Jehovah says enough.
There are so many people that need hope and comfort and we try to help them get that from the pages of the bible.
There is no clergy class among Witnesses so we all have the commission to strive side by side to reach every person on earth with the good news.

I've gone out on the street and talked to those who are confused and want to know the truth, but on the web I can talk to the whole world if they like it or not.

Right now there are almost 7 million Jehovah's Witnesses doing this. It's one of the biggest responsibilities of being a Christian, according to Matthew 28:19,20. It's something Jesus did and commanded his followers to do as well.
