When you do your research paper you're going to have to specify what sex offences your reporting. One catagory in the Uniform Crime Report is 'forcible rape'. This is only classified as a man raping a woman, with assault or the threat of assault involved. The highest arrest rate is for white with 65.1%. Other types of rape clearance may be reported under 'other sex offences' or 'offences against family or children'.

Sex offenders are usually the same race as their victims. This is true of most violent crimes.
Sex crimes are under reported in most groups so it impossible to say what race most sex offenders are. If the crime is not reported then the crime does not become part of the statistical data base.
The majority of people in the US are white so most sex criminals would be white.

Just a glance at the Megan's law site (and if you've ever seen "To Catch a Predator" and shows like that) seems like it's mostly white males, but that's not really a scientific evaluation.
