There are 100 inch LCDs, but there are projection screens that are much bigger. I once saw a demo of a home theater system at a home show in the 80s or early 90s and it was nearly a theater-sized screen. This was before DVDs and HD, but if money was no object you could get a gadget to digitally enhance the resolution of the output from a VCR and project it on a screen at near-theater quality. There probably are better systems now, so I'm sure someone has a screen much bigger than 100 inches, but the biggest non-projection sets are around 100, maybe 102 or 103 inches maximum.

Panasonic has a 103" plasma, Samsung has a 102" plasma,
Sharp has a 108" LCD. These all cost upwards of $40,000 dollars.
Then there is the Diamond Vision (Mitsubishi) It is 231 feet long and 26 feet high. It is for commercial use only and it's longer than a Boeing 747. Now that's a TV. It's in use at the Hong Kong Jockey club for displaying the horse racing results. It is in the Guinness book of records as the worlds largest TV.

in the case of "normal televisions"-then pannys 103 inch (8 feet 7 inches!!) takes the prize. but some good quality projectors can throw a quality image 60 feet across.

You can get one of those presentation projectors that offices have (for around $700) and make a screen as big as your wall.
