I think you misunderstand. I do not think atheists believe evolution proves the non-existence of God. Darwin did not prove there was no God either.
Second, evolution does not say we evolved from nothing. Once life began, then it began to evolve. Abiogenesis is necessary for evolution to occur. So, life is a chemical process that formed from other ordinary chemical processes. The precise mechanism is not understood. Of course, most things currently understood were previously not understood just 200 years ago.
You should be careful using the word IMPOSSIBLE. You are using by saying it is impossible for life to come from non-life yet you are insisting God must be the origin and that other choices are impossible. Impossible should be used very sparingly in discussions and should never be used where someone can conceive of a possible alternative. That is merely your anger kicking in and not rational thought.
The issue of religion and atheism is not the one you are looking at. You are looking at the issue of certain ideas in Christianity, at least I think you are, you may be Muslim, and certain observations in science.
There are two issues that I see, one affects only Protestant Christianity the other all theistic religions.
It occurs in Protestant Christianity, because of sola scriptura or "scripture alone," and the idea of "original sin." The Genesis and psalmists stories of creation are contradictory. This is okay because they are really about other more important things anyway. The big issue comes from the interaction of sola scriptura, the death of Jesus and evolution.
Sola scriptura forces a definition of original sin that says that Adam's sin caused death to occur. Evolution says that there was life before Adam, that it died and that Adam evolved from prior life. If death occurred before the proverbial apple, then sin did not cause death. If sin did not cause death, then Jesus' sacrifice simply doesn't matter. Jesus put an end to death by his death. He put an end to Adam's sin which set nature into motion. Jesus, under this interaction, becomes irrelevant. The Catholics and Orthodox of course do not have the problem that historic Protestantism has because it did not self constrain itself to sola scriptura. Still, one must be careful because one can easily create arguments against Catholicism and Orthodoxy too. Nonetheless, it permits a wide ranging set of attacks against the life of Jesus and truly Jesus gets dumped in the dustbin when sola scriptura interacts with evolution.
That is the problem Christians have with evolution.
There is also a science problem with theistic religion however, particularly the Abramhic religions. As the study of stochastic systems has become deep, evidence against a divine intelligence has been mounting in a large number of disciplines. If there is a divine intelligence, it doesn't use it. The only way there could be a divine intelligence, given the data that is being collected in physics, biology, economics and engineering, would be that the God started the Universe in motion and left it. The problem is that the empirical data points against it, not just the theory.
I do respect the argument that God is so beyond our perception that we could easily fail to comprehend God. However, that argument too is problematic. It really is a statement that you will believe in God no matter what evidence is brought forth. That is fine, but it is also irrational. Its parallel is that you would believe in Zeus, gravity, George Bush, or the tooth fairy for that matter, no matter what evidence is brought forth. It is certainly acceptable as a personal view, but it is also an indefensible view too. It is simply saying "it is true because I say so."

First of all, Atheism and Science don't correlate. You could still have a lack of belief in God and not know anything about science.
Second, you are wrong about no infinite values being unproven because time is an infinite value. Evolution doesent evolve from nothing.
Third, like I said before, atheism and science do not correlate. And micro evolution is proven, look a how bacteria adapts to heat and evolves.
Fourth, Humans created God because everyone on this planet is born with no beliefs and religion is learned by outside influences such as societies, culture, or traditions ever since infancy. This is why people all over the world believe in different Gods and not only the Christian God.

I don't think evolution disproves God it merely indicates that we got here through a natural process. I don't believe because I generally don't believe or accept things with no evidence, especially when the claims are far out and contrary to reason. We have completely naturalistic possible explanations. What we don't know I see no reason to conclude by default it was a supernatural being, that seems irrational to me. I guess I do use science as a crutch when I do things like take medication and many others things that have come to us through science. I bet you use science as a crutch too.

Evolution has absolutely nothing to do with the existence or non existence of god. When are you people going to read a book that is not the bible. You rant endlessly about things a 3 year old could see you know nothing about.

How nice of you to use your complete lack of understanding of science as a crutch for attacking science. Are you truly proud of being ignorant, or do you not realize it?
> Please spare me the, well then how was God created crap too.
Naturally. Theists are exempt from requiring anything remotely resembling evidence, since religion does not rely on it. You just claim that no one can comprehend god. Doesn't this include you, who then should not be talking about something that you cannot comprehend?

You have no idea what you're talking about, and should probably do some research before asking questions like this.
If you'd like to ask questions about evolution, I'm sure they'd have plenty of answerers in biology that would GLADLY clear this one up for you... but what you're referring to is another science called Abiogenesis. If you did understand evolution and abiogenesis (two separate sciences), you would have wound it into your religion that way, and maybe had a better version of this question.
Darwin did not disprove god- he disproved Genesis.
Science explains how things happened WITH OR WITHOUT the intervention of a deity.
Nothing more.

I totally agree with you since SCIENCE is not all FACT! Most of it is theories to try to explain occurances.
I too, as a Christian, believe in evolution. But, until we bring science (which explains how things work...not the why, in so many cases)and the Bible together...forget peaceful and intellectual conversations on this topic.
There will always be those against and those for!

And people of religious faith do not use thier books as a crutch.
Isnt is very easy to just say that whatever happens to you good or bad that it was God's will. Do not think you are any different, the same arguement works for both sides.
If you inserted the Bible, the Church, and us just being here as proof of God your same arguement fits if there is a God.

Science isn't a "crutch". If anything is a "Crutch", religion is. The whole point of being an Atheist is the believe that there are no crutches when it comes to belief, its all you and your personal, all be it short, exisitance on this earth, and making the most of it.

My lack of belief in God has nothing to do with the theory of evolution, the big bang theory-- or Boyle's law, for that matter. The reason I don't believe is that I have no experience or evidence that leads me to believe.
