I have a step-dad, who just contacted his son after 13 years
He's almost 16 now.
Anyways me and Blake started to hang out.
Yesterday he told me that he liked me..
I really like him also...
But I was just wondering if it would be weird to date him because he's my step-brother....
We don't live together..
I deffinately don't think of him as my brother..
We didn't grow up together..
My mom and his dad said that theres nothing wrong with it....
But i was just wondering what other people though..
so please help....

That is something that is up to you. You have to realize that some people won't agree with the realtionship. You have to think about how people will react and ask yourself seriously if you can deal with that. Some people may say some really mean things. I am dating a guy that is Indian, and some people don't agree with the interracial dating. But, I said that it was worth the people looking at me oddly. This is a guy that you didn't really even know existed. You don't know him other than just a friend really. He's not your brother. He's connected to your family, though. No, there's nothing WRONG with it, so to speak. But, you will get alot of looks if you date. You have to choose if you can deal with that or not.

I would just be friends.
Let your step-dad be a father to his son
If you and his son had a relationship then the relationship went sour it could cause a strain on your family and why do that when there a lots of other guys out there that aren't yoour step-brother.

There's nothing wrong with it. Even if you did live together. You guys like eachother, didn't grow up together andd your parents agree. Go for it. Have fun. The fact that you already have some sort of family relationship will make it easier for you guys to hang out.

Well, I don't think it's THAT wrong, but I wouldn't feel comfortable....
But if you really like each other then I'd say go for it... After all, he's your STEP-brother, not your brother, brother... he doesn't share your same blood..... So go 4 it, girl!!!!!!!

if you like somebody you like somebody.

if you don't see him as a brother then i guess there's nothing wrong with it. i wouldn't do it but that's just me.

do what you think is good for you not what everybody else thinks you should.
