What do you think of the name Chase Alan Swiger? Any other little boy name suggestions? Also I am going for my 23 week doc apt. tomorrow does anyone know what i should expect for tomorrow, would we be doing anything diff besides hearing the heartbeat, and checking blood pressure? Also before I got pregnant I weighed 128lbs and at 23 weeks I am now 146, is this normal weight gain so far? Thanks!

I like the name, dont worry about the weight, I was 125 when i got pregnant 6 years ago and when i delivered I was 200 But that doesnt always happen dont worry. I did loose the weight quickly but I worked my butt off. I am pregnant now (12 weeks) and I have already gained 5 pounds and I am eating really healthy!!! Some people just gain quicker than others but it is perfectly fine.

Chase is cute, but Alan is kind of outdated. What's your maiden name. Could you put it there? Or your mom's maiden name.
Everything is probably routine unless they decide to do an ultrasound, which is always fun.
Gaining weight is an individual thing. Thirty pounds is good, but at the end you may start gaining water weight, so that doesn't really count. I gained 11 pounds in one week. And peed by the gallon after surgery!
Just be happy. Don't worry. That's the best you can do for your son. Be excited. Eat well. Walk. And keep your dr appts. You'll do fine.

Thats a great name. Your weight gain sounds normal. As for the visit they will probably just check you and your babys vital signs unless they are doing an ultrasound
