looks like it could be a separator for fruit. ( such as blackberries or raspberries) the seeds go out one side, and the juice the other. just try that and see what happens

Interesting! Looks like either an ancient culinary tool or some sort of farming device. Perhaps its a pasta maker or sausage grinder?

It looks like the old fashioned version of a cheese grater. They make them in plastic these days. Does it have a "grater" anywhere that you can see.
