Adam and Eve had more children than just Cain and Abel. And I know we think it's gross...but they married their sisters.

The Bible says that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. Scientists agree that, looking at the laws of genealogy, we all came from one human pair. So, whether you believe man was created or evolved, sexual relations must have occured somewhere between a brother and sister or cousins.
Sometime after the Flood, God gave laws to the Isrealites and incest was forbidden. This is because man was so far removed from Edenic perfection that such a relationship could have adverse affects on any children born from it.
Cain would have married his sister, or perhaps a cousin, but this would not have been classed as incest because it would not have caused any ill-effects for their children. It was also necessary to kick-start the human race.
Incidentally, some people read into the Bible that Cain's wife came from the Land of Fugitiveness and assume that other people were created as well as Adam and Eve. However, the Bible merely says that Cain went to the Land of Fugitiveness and while there his wife gave birth to Enoch. It in no way implies that he met her there.
Genesis 4:16 says that Cain "took up residence in the land of Fugitiveness to the east of Eden." Then verse 17 says: "Afterward Cain had intercourse with his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." It does not say that Cain left for the land of Fugitiveness alone and that he got married after he got there.
If there were multiple creations of humans and only Adam and Eve sinned, then only Adam and Eve would have been punished. The only mention of death in Eden was if God was disobeyed. Had others been created and if they did not sin, then they would still be here on earth.
Acts 17:26 says: "And he made out of one man every nation of men, to dwell upon the entire surface of the earth."
It may also be interesting to note that many cultures around the world, even primitive ones, have stories and legends about the human race coming from one couple who lived in a park or a garden. These cultures also have stories of a global flood brought about by a God because of a moral issue, though a handful of people survived. There are some minor differences but the stories are essentially the same.

Since God is about community it would only be fitting he created out of that community. Adam and Eve are the ones mentioned as it relates to our salvation history. They are pertinent to Gods relationship to man.The Bible is not a science book nor a chronological set of events in history. The book of Genesis was not the first book written even though it appears first. This book was written to refute other creation stories by chaotic and pagan nations to show God had order in the creation of all things.

You have GOT to watch Inherit the Wind. There's a great scene where Spencer Tracy (as Drummond) asks Frederick March (as Brady), "Now where the hell did she come from?" (Who? he asks) "Mrs. Cain. Cain's wife. If in the beginning, there were Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel, where did this extra woman come from? You figure someone pulled off another creation in the next county?"

Well they actually took for wives their own sisters.
Sounds sick i know, but that was the only way they could reproduce.
One would think that hey would produce kids with defects but since the human genes were almost perfect, there was no such effect. Of course later down the line with the fall of humans from perfection, our genes have also taken a dive and so are more prone to defects and malformations.

This question has been answered so many times.
If you are trying to be cleaver you did not succeed, the answer is so evident when you read the bible. I think someone else has encouraged you to ask this because they could not be bothered to look up the answer themselves and they did not want to look an idiot by asking it.
