Around 5 give or take a few months.I have 3 kids and they all are so different and do things at different times. It took my daughter a bit longer than it did my 2 boys to learn how to ride a bike.

My kids were later than most. I think they were about 9 or 10 years old. Most kids are more adventurous and can go without them around 6 or 7.

I don't remember exactly. I think my daughter was 6-7, and my son was 5-6. My little brother was 4. His butt is still on the seat of any bike or ATV he can lay his hands on.
