Yes this is normal. you only need to worry when you hit about 250. City driving in the summer will always run your car warmer but your fan runs constantly so you will be fine. Just make sure your coolant level is good and your fan belt is not too old.

Yep, used to drive a 2 jeeps with the I6 engine and they'd both run right around 210 degrees.

I assume you have the 4.0 engine and have the AC running while driving in the city... yes, running at 210 or even a little higher is normal for the 4.0 in summer weather, city driving

Yes its normal. Mine runs the same at 210 whether in the city or on open highway.

That is the normal temperature for our '99 GC if that helps.
