My bf says, "let's be friends." The relationship was fine..until summer vacation arrived and after I sent him a text that pissed him off...we were talking on the phone one evening and he said about three times, that I deserve better and I should get my man." I hate it when he says that because he knows how I truly feel about him...He seems to be insecure at times, feeling unappreciated and somewhat jealous...like he would make a comment about how too short my shorts were or skirt, but he loved seeing me wear them..there were times when I think that he felt that I was cheating on him or somethin...but I never did...Anyways after he told me that night, that he had to take a call and that he'll call me back, I got impatient after about 20 minutes and text him sarcastically saying, "Thanks for calling me back. I hope everything's fine. Goodnight." He texted me back saying, " Sarcasm is not your strong point. Im in the hospital..thanks for your support. please do not respond. I was shocked

quickly apologized and regret what I had said.. but then again, "How was I supposed to know that he was in the hospital with his grandmother, which I find out 3 wks. later in June after having called him several times, no answer and having searched for his parent's phone # in the internet so as to reach him..he called me, finally, 3 wks later on a sunday evening and was calm..He said that I should've been patient and that he didn't have his cell with him while he was up in another city, in order to check his messages, and that was scary what I had done and he siad, "now we've got a stalker...that's kinda psycho..but, like I said, Im not mad at you because you had good intentions and he also told me that his ex girlfriend was worse and I had nothing on her...Then he siad "Let's just be friends..you know i care about you, you care about me, let's be friends...I just said ok...then we talked a few days afterwards and he just treated me as if we never went out before for more than 6 months

Im not mad at him..but why would he tell me that he loves me to death, and im tellin you, guys, this guy was truly in love with me, like I can't even explain it..he said that Im beautiful, sexy, intelligent, and he just loved me for who I am...There were times when I wanted to sit down and talk with him about the relationship because he was acting as if He didn't love me and just saw me as an eye candy or somethin..he said though, that, "It's not you. it's me and then he'll say something like I just don't believe that I deserve you..im an old fart..you're so beautiful..and if we were making out...he would say "look what you did to me! Or, Oh i didn't do that..fix yourself up..Why do you drive me crazy..Look what you did to me...I don't understand him..he sends me these mixed messages..now he's on vacation and he hasn't really called me for about two wks..since we talked..he said that he was goin up on a cruise..I don't call him at all, SO IDON'TSEEMCLINGY. i JUSTACTLIKEIDONTCARE..BUT I

BUT INSIDE, IM FULL WITH PAIN, SORROW and wished that we were still together..he's even told me that we would always be friends..why is he pushing my away...

I think he's just confused himself about how he feels about you. By the sounds of it he wants you one minute and not the next.
I'd just leave him to himself, if he doesn't want you that's his loss. You should have a guy that will give you his full attention not just when he feels like it.

You need to get a life. This guy is just stringing you along. He is emotionally abusing you. If you like it then stay around for the crumbs he is tossing you. If you don't, then move on. You don't need someone like that. Good Luck.

well sound slike he could be cheating on you and that is why he keeps saying you are too good for him and hes trying to get you angry and break it off and i think you should be cause he watns out. just find someone that appreciates you and you will be fine.

i didn't read all of it cause it was too much but just forget about him! i know its hard, but start seeing someone else distract yourself, go out with your friends. how were you to know about his grandma? he sounds like a little kid. don't you want a real man?
