I was a member of the Science Club and I'm a Christian. But then again I was a member of anything they'd let me join.

Just do what you like and you'll meet people with similar interests. Don't stress out about religion.

Well, it's not like there is an 'atheist's club' or anything like that. Atheists interests and activities vary greatly, as the only thing we all have in common is the disbelief in god(s). You find us everywhere, you just don't know it all the time! I applaud you for being open enough to want to learn new things, though.

For the record, I was in French Club, Art Club, Pep Band, on the Tennis Team, Usher's Club, NHS, and a few others that I can't think of right now.

I was on the newspaper, in French club, and Pep club.

I think you should do what you enjoy. There may be more atheists in science clubs but not necessarily, and if you aren't really interested in the subject you'll be bored.

Culture can be very localized in cities, so I think the very best place to meet new people with different ways of thinking is college. People there tend to come from many different places, and have the guts to challenge their old belief systems.

There probably are a few more in the science club. I personally spent most of high school in a rock band so I didn't have a ton of time for much else.

Well, I'm not exactly atheist, but I was in Chess, AV, swimming, volleyball, choir, and the science clubs. What's funny is that most of the people in my chess and science clubs were christian....but I don't know how much that really says since most of the people I was in school with were christian. Which made me and most of my friends unique.....being white didn't hurt much either. (I went to a predominately black and mexican school).

I was in a chess club that eventually evolved to become a role-playing game club.

We'd sit in a classroom every lunch hour and play D&D, Star Frontiers or TMNT.

Yes, we were geeks. Some of us were atheists. Some of us are still playing role-playing games together.

I was in FBLA, because it would look good for my transcript, and we had the coolest teacher leading it.

A lot of people at my school tried for Key Club, it was like the popular kids club, but you have to be a junior or senior to be eligible

I was in the Environmental Service Organization and Chess Club.

If you have an A-team, you might try there too.
