Its only 3 days for pete's sake, you deserve a vacation once in a while. The baby will have not fun or memory of being there and it will only become a hassle to have him/her with. If you want to go on a ride what are you going to do with it? 3 days is not long at all and I think you should just let go a little and enjoy yourself while at disney world. This would not make you a bad parent by any means!!

I think you need to cancel the entire trip because at 3 yrs old and 5 months, neither one is going to remember Disneyland.
It will severly cut you back on any "fun" you might be planning on having.
Disneyland can be a blast and even though it's "suppose" to be for kids, most of it is adult stuff that you will be sitting on the sidelines, kids on tow, watching the rest of the family having fun. And what do you do when the kids are tired and cranky and the others don't want to stop the fun?
Trust me, it's tiring for both the parent and the children and some one will wind up leaving unhappy. Wait until they are older (at least 10 and 7) so everyone can have fun.
P.S.... It's not just the hotel cost, Disneyland is "VERY" expensive!!!!!!

You can go, just call as often as you need to so that you feel comfortable with her being away from you. It's only 3 days, keep telling yourself that and try to make it memorable for your 3 year old. You can take her when she's a little older, until them she's a little young to be toting around such a big, busy place. Your mom will enjoy the bonding time with her granddaughter and she raised you, didn't she?

Okay, it's nothing against the baby or anything... but do you think she'll have fun in the hot sun? She can't go on rides! She'll probably end up fussing a lot in a hot, loud place (as I know from my own that babies tend to do) and then you have to go back to the hotel... you might as well vacation at any hotel if you're going to do that, amusement park or not!

I think if she will be okay with your mom for a few days, leave her there. Your mom will take good care of her and so she will be in good hands. It will be better than her staying in a hotel room.

you should leave her with your mom and relax. She raised you right? It will be hard but getting used to leaving your child is good for the both of you. Have fun

Take the baby with you. If you are driving just take a port a crib with you and they will never know. if flying it would be cheaper still to purchase a porta crib and use and not tell the hotel. Chances are the hotel wont know and it will save you a lot of money.
