God has made circumcision to be an EVERLASTING COVENANT:

"He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money (your slaves), must be CIRCUMCISED: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an EVERLASTING COVENANT." [Genesis 17:13]

"And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be CUT OFF (be killed) from his people; he hath broken my covenant." [Genesis 17:14]

GEN017:009-10 -- And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my Covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every male child among you shall be circumcised.

Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day, to fulfill the law: And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. [Luke 2:21]

Paul seems to be confused in his opinions…..

For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?" [Romans 2:25-26]

GAL005:002 --Behold, I Paul say unto you , that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

So one sentence from PAUL (his opinion) can invalidate an Everlasting covenant handed down by Abraham himself !!

According to the laws of the Everlasting Covenant Paul has committed a great sin and he even denied to circumcise Titus .

Paul broke A covenant that was to NEVER end as long as they keep the commands of GOD and yet the Majority of the Christians today don’t care to see what misguidance Paul introduced into the message of Jesus.

What are the Commandments of God which Jesus said to keep ?

"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.' (Matthew 23:1-3)"

Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

All of the Old Testament laws will be binding forever. "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)

He that hath my commandments, and KEEPETH THEM, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be LOVED OF MY FATHER, and I WILL LOVE HIM, and will manifest myself to him [John 14:21]

God did not change his mind and reverse his decision for an everlasting covenant through circumcism.

The word of GOD is superior to the word of Paul.

Saint Paul and the other Apostles clearly said there would be a falling away into apostacy . .. If they kept the teachings of tradition it wouldn't be a problem . .. but they keep parts of the Bible they like, choose parts of the Bible that make sense to them, and define religion based on their own personal beliefs rather than the teaching of the LORD . .. Saint Paul clearly said that he was of one mind with CHRIST . .. meaning he wrote inspired in the HOLY SPIRIT . ..

LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

Please, compare Exodus 4:15 with 2Timothy 3:16 and 2Peter 1:21 (just for an eye opener)

Matthew 22:36
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

You do err greatly, not knowing the Scriptures.

Not all are of Abraham.

And circumcision was raised to the spiritual level, even as spoken of in the O.T. regarding circumcision of the heart.

Your understanding of Luke 16:17 is flawed. If your interpretation were correct, you would be keeping all 613 laws, which includes all the sacrifices.

Paul understood and taught the spirit of the law. You however have no clue regarding the Spirit of the law.

It must be obvious that if God wanted men to be circumsized, he would have made them that way. The decision to circumsize was completely man/s, obviously. As far as God's word being superior to Paul's, all we have in the Bible is the opinions of two men, and I don't see why the older man should be considered superior to the presumably younger man who voiced his opinions later. Go back to my first sentence, please, and don't argue with the obvious. (Or are you telling me that God made a mistake when he made man and he tried to correct his mistake by ordering their circumcision?)

I see your friend might be F.C. Baur or people from such a school of thought. If you would like to do a little reading on the New Perspective on Paul, you might get a little different take on what he was preaching.

This is nothing but Anti-Pauline rhetoric. Paul himself said the law is holy, righteous, and good.

Please, read Paul's letters in context instead of just trying to make them say what you would like them to say.
