Me and two friends are taking a four night cruise on RC Majesty of the seas. I was hoping someone could give me examples of what they offered in the dining room for dinner. Were there usually many choices? What kinds of food was offered, pasta/steak/seafood etc.? Did any find it better to eat at Windjammers? Thanks.

I have been on many RC cruises but not the Majesty. But the typical menu has a variety of great items for dinner each night. You will have a choice of several soups AND hot or cold appetizers, then a salad. For the main course there is usually a fish or seafood, a beef dish, a chicken disk and a pasta dish. Some nights they may have lamb, veal, escargot, shrimp, or turkey. Then on one or two night they may offer a great choice or lobster tail or Prime rib, or fillet mignon. One of these is usually offered on a formal night. The there are a variety of deserts offered, some specials but also usually cheese cake and ice cream or sherbet.

One thing I love about RC's dinner menu's is they all have an alternative menu EVERY night that has on it Sirloin Steak, grilled chicken or baked salmon. SO if you don't like the special preparations you can always choose one of those. And you can always order seconds(and thirds) of any thing and if you order something and don't like it just tell them and they will bring something else.

The Windjammer is best for breakfast and/or lunch. But don't forget that you can order the free 24/7 room service and that's a great idea at breakfast. We do that all of the time; tip the server a couple bucks for bringing it.

Having just been on the ship (for the 4th time), the food in the dining room was excellent since the refurbishment. 5-6 different entree items each night plus an alternative menu of steak, chicken, and salmon.

The Windjammer has also been changed. they have added a Deli, Pizza and Johnny Rocket's venue on the upper level.

Service was excellent and the siging by the wait staff is fun.

Have fun in Coco Cay but be sure to bring sun screen.

RC Magesty has fantastic food. I have been on this ship. The 4 night cruise will have a lobster night - which will be your formal night. Remember - you can order the lobster, AND the NY Strip Steak off the menu - so you get your own "surf and turf"! The have prime rib, roast leg of lamb, all sorts of chicken dishes. You will have a choice of a pasta dish every night and also vegetarian dishes. ALSO - you can order more then ONE entree if you want to - so don't be shy. And also save room for dessert!! RC is the best - and your waiters will also SING to you!! It's heaven!!

I thought the dinner food in the main dining room was good, but the desserts were just okay. I found the desserts in Windjammer to be better.
