I am filing for bankruptcy. I was told that because my car is not a sports car or an otherwise in demand car, that I would be able to keep it but I had to reaffirm my debt. Will this affect my co-signer in any way?

You reaffirm your agreement to maintain that portion of the debit. Would only affect him if you refused; then he would get stuck with the loan and probably the car.

Yes, it will.

The co-signer is now responsible for the debt that they guaranteed by cosigning for it.

In other words, that debt cannot be included in the bankruptcy. The cosigner must pay it.
