Why is it a woman can take 2 hours to get ready to go out when we men only need 2 mins?

Women pay a lot more attention to detail than men, and women have a lot more to do than men do. Men just need to shower and throw on some clean clothes. Women have to pick the outfit that sends the right message. Shower, lotion, hair styling, make up, and choose the right perfume.
It's alot more than men think about, but most men prefer the woman who does pay that extra attention to themselves. If you are with a girl who showers and puts on clean clothes after a while you will have that wandering eye to the woman who looks so well put together.

Women want to present themselves in a sophisticated way. Haha, but men dont. My dad took forever to get ready in the mornings. But my parents balanced out each other because while my dad was in the shower, my mom was putting on makeup (which would probably take them both 2 hours, so when one starts getting dressed, the other one will start doing their hair.

Two hours? Ha. I take about 25-30 minutes to get ready to go out. The only time I take longer is when I have a black tie event and have to have my hair curled and up and am wearing a gown. Even then, it tops out at MAYBE an hour and a half.

And my times include showering.

Please!!! I spend about 5 min. in the shower, 10 if I have to shave, 5 min. blow drying and styling, 3 min. putting on a natural makeup look and I manage to get dressed somewhere in all of that and still manage to get hit on and experience sexy eye contacts. In my whole life it has never taken me 2 hrs to get ready. However, my daughter takes forever because she is trying to be more beautiful than what she always is and I keep telling her that that is not possible.

Because! Our confidence is always at a zero when we are trying to look good, but when we know we look good, we are right on the money :]
Its natural for women to go into there closet and get out a perfect oulfit, then try it on, and then find out that there but looks to fat in it... so then we gotta get anotha oulfit.. And same thing happenss over and over and over again, i tried on 7 different types of pants before i went to the movies last night cause i thought they all made my thighs look huge, its just natural!!!! Wow...not all women take 2 hours and not all men take 2 minutes...I'm sorry to say that it goes both ways, and those people who take so long can't help themselves. To be honest I really don't see why they need so much time...but it's their thing...

If she threw her hair into a pony tail, and walked out the door with you, would you second guess anything.?! You know deep down you'd be wondering, did she shower? What's that smell? Did she shave her legs? Underarms? Did she put on deodorant? Brush her teeth? Is that yesterdays makeup under those raccoon looking eyes? ect.... Of course we take forever to get ready, we want to make you look better by being seen with us. DUH!!!
