i start drinking as soon as i get outta work at 5, but i usually end up meeting up with people after i get a buzz on. i just like to predrink to save $$ at the bar. yet for some reason, my bar tabs are still astronomical....

I do the same thing- I went out a couple of weeks ago and took 4 shots of tequila before I went just so I could save $$! I drink Patron or Don Julio- the stuff is like 7 dollars a shot at the bar! So dont feel bad, I do the same thing!!

I don't have a bar tab, can't do that where i live, well you can tab while your at the bar but you have to pay when your done. I always (well almost always if i have money) go to the bar after work so I can hang out with my co-workers and then I end up staying for at least 2-3 hours which really pisses my husband off Oh well.

Why do you feel the NEED to get buzzed? Are you or your friends so uninteresting that you have to get buzzed to be around each other? Try not drinking at all sometime, you'll save money, won't drive drunk or buzzed and maybe find out just how boring your friends are and start looking for some more interesting people to hang out with.

I don't feel bad about it at all. When I was single and worked 11 hours a night, the last thing I wanted to do was party. Nothing like a nice cold beer or two at home at the end of a long day/night!

No!! I have a drink in my backyard on a hot sunny day, while the kids are playing or asleep....naw, I don't feel guilty about that one bit...other things maybe..like I drank all the beer b4 my spouse came home but hey I enjoyed it!

If you are consuming that much alcohol, you have a drinking problem. You are also drinking and driving, which endangers those around you. Find new friends, develop other interests, and get some help for your over consumption of alcohol.
