1 Cor. 8:5, 6, RS: “Although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords’—yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” (This presents the Father as the “one God” of Christians and as being in a class distinct from Jesus Christ.)
1 Pet. 1:3, RS: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!” (Repeatedly, even following Jesus’ ascension to heaven, the Scriptures refer to the Father as “the God” of Jesus Christ. At John 20:17, following Jesus’ resurrection, he himself spoke of the Father as “my God.” Later, when in heaven, as recorded at Revelation 3:12, he again used the same expression. But never in the Bible is the Father reported to refer to the Son as “my God,” nor does either the Father or the Son refer to the holy spirit as “my God.”). In Theological Investigations, Karl Rahner, S.J., admits: “Θεός [God] is still never used of the Spirit,” and: “ὁ θεός [literally, the God] is never used in the New Testament to speak of the πνεῦμα ἅγιον [holy spirit].”—(Baltimore, Md.; 1961), translated from German, Vol. I, pp. 138, 143.

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded form the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’

The Bible teaches one God;
The Bible teaches one Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Think of God as a "team."
The team has multiple players.
The players play different roles.
The players work united towards a common agenda.
The players are all known by the same name.
One team
One agenda
One effort
One purpose
One all-powerful strength
One limitless love
One limitless judgment
One theme
One message
One Gospel
One faith
Multiple persons in God.
"God" is a title.
In the Old Testament He is referred to as Jehovah.
In the New Testament, we know Him as Jesus, God come down in human form.

This aspect that the Bible speaks of... Is very hard to understand and you MUST have a lot of faith to understand... but this is how I comprhend it....
The Father, Jesus (The Son), and the Holy Spirit are all one..
But The Holy Spirit is the part of God that is on Earth and is with us now.
The Father is in Heaven and has always been there.
And Jesus Came down to Earth for about 33 years to teach and died for us.
Now you must keep in mind that although we were created in Gods image we are still in a different "spiritual dimension" and God can do anything...
He is the all powerful and almighty and to understand the Bible you must have Great faith and a lot of help... I am in the prosses of studying Revelation and Genesis with my Bible Study leader and It makes it sooo much clearer!!!
I hope this helped!!!
If it did and you need anyother help let me know!

There are many places in the Gospels where Christ equates Himself with God. The most dramatic is in John 8:54-58...
Jesus replied, "If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."
"You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!"
"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
In this passage Jesus uses the words "I am" to refer to Himself, which are the words God used to describe Himself to Moses. This is unmistakably a claim to divinity. It should come as no surprise therefore that this is the reason the Jews gave for having Christ put to death, namely that He claimed to be divine. But how can we understand Christ as God, when it is apparent that he was also fully human? The answer is to realize that the essence of God was translated into human form in Jesus Christ. Christ is what God is as a human; the Father is what God is immaterially. The Holy Spirit is what God is as an expression of love. Thus there are three distinct persons, but all are God. This is why Christ can refer to God in the first person (Himself) and as the Father (something other than Himself) without contradiction. He is talking about God in both cases, but God in different forms or persons. Consider a sphere. In three dimensions a sphere is round and has volume. If you translate the sphere into two dimensions it becomes a circle, a round object with no volume. Similarly the different persons of God are like projections of the same reality into different dimensions. They are all God but they take on a different appearance because they are expressed in different environments. Thus you have to make a distinction in your mind between form and substance. God exists in three different forms (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) but is always one divine substance. This distinction is easier for Catholics who receive the Eucharist on a regular basis to make, for we understand that when the bread is transsubstantiated into the body and blood of Christ, the form remains the same (i.e. a piece of bread) but the substance is changed from bread into the divine body of Christ. This miracle is the converse of the Trinity in that with the Trinity, the form changes and the substance remains the same from person to person, but with the Eucharist the form remains the same but the substance changes.

None. In addition to the Scriptures you quoted, Jesus said at John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." If the Father is the only true God, then that means Jesus and the holy spirit are not the true God. Tha's not surprising since Jesus already denied being God by calling himself God's Son. John 10:36
Ask a trinitarian to show in the Bible where it says "God the Son" and "God the Holy Spirit."
Where at Matt. 28:19 does it say that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are all called God and that when combined make up God? Where in that verse does it say that all three are almighty, coeternal, and coequal? It doesn't!

There is ONE God , and NO "trinity" , period . The "trinity" is a Catholic invention that even they can`t explain . Ask your priest to explain it in detail sometimes , with evidence from the scriptures . He`ll fumble , cough and stutter without giving you even a half-intelligent answer .
You could then also ask , if the "trinity" is a fact , then to whom was God talking to in the first part of Genesis . Himself ? ....... hardly ! He was talking to Jesus , a totally separate entity .
