I'm an atheist, but I met my fiancee on the Internet. She's Muslim. Of course, we didn't start dating until she came to the US. Before then, it was just social.

I know several Muslims who have had successful arranged marriages. Do you have any family or close friends who could help you with this?
My ex-husband is Muslim (I'm Christian) and our marriage only lasted 5 years not due to religious differences but to his alcoholism. The marriage he's in now, which was arranged, has lasted over 15 years (even though he's STILL drinking and it's driving his wife, kids and other family members crazy)
He has a brother who had an arranged marriage fail but had another arranged marriage and that one has lasted for over 20 years.
Good luck in finding a wife

In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate and Merciful
As-salamu 'alaykum.
Insha-Allah this reaches you in the best of 'afiya and iman.
There may be Muslims close than you think. You could try asking the nearest imam of a masjid about your situation. You can easily find where Islamic centers are by going to www.islamicfinder.com (maybe .org) and searching by zip code or city. The internet can be difficult, because people often misrepresent themselves, etc. You may find some good in it, but you may even try going to ISNA's national convention, where they have events for such purposes, (supposedly) only attended by those serious in these matters.
The most important thing is to make dua' to Allah Most High, Who is in complete control of everything no matter what things may look like from our perspective. Ask sincerely for help in the matter. I urge you to be patient in the matter and trust in what Allah has decreed from pre-eternity. I would also advise again the following:
The following link is a question and answer section that deals specifically with the issues you mention. The answers are provided by some of the greatest English-speaking scholars in the world and their students, who are familiar with life in the West. I encourage you to look through there to find answers.
http://qa.sunnipath.com/search.asp?cmd=s...
If you have difficulty with the link, just go to www.sunnipath.com and click on "answers." There's a section there about "finding a spouse" that you can click on.
And Allah Alone gives success. And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

The Internet is considered undesirable by Islam but, for your own good of finding a wife, I think you should opt for using it.
