It is when a driver takes a victory lap going in the opposite direction. Alan Kulwicki started it after his first win at Phoenix International Raceway in 1988. The driver usually lowers his window net and waves or holds the checkered flag as he goes by the grandstands, showing appreciation to the fans.

It is where after the race you sit on the start finish line and 12 guys pick up the track and unscrew it.....

Nope just what everyone else said. Drive around the track with the drivers side facing the crowd, so he can see the fans and wave to them.

Ol Trego hit it on the nail Mr Alan first did it it what a whale of a driver I was not old enough to rember all of his races but rember some I saw a thunderbird one time it was really cool one one side it had Alans hooters car on it and Daveys havoline car on the other side really cool lookin car
